Olive Oil Pressing

Today we went to see the pressing of olives to make olive oil. Eric and Cyrus picked olives at the home of Lazlo, one of his classmates at the International School of Florence. Here, Lazlo's dad is dumping olives into the hopper.

Ever wonder where the combination of purple and chartreuse came from in fashion? From nature, of course!

From the hopper the olives move via conveyor belt to a washer.
