We spent 10 days in the Dolomites, or Dolomiti, the mountainous area in the northeastern part of Italy, in the region of Alto-Adige (Sud Tirol), near the town of St Lorenzo di Sebato. The slide show below includes photos from our various hikes. There were many more photos of flowers, mushrooms and other plants and animals, however I will load them into a separate album.
The amazing thing is that this area of Italy can be reached by car in less than 4 hours from Florence!
