Partly to test out our new camera, and partly to document what was included in the half-pension (breakfast and dinner included) of the 2 hotels we stayed at (and a few other places we ate), we tried to record our sit-down meals from our recent trip to the Dolomites.
This area of Italy, Alto-Adige (Sud Tirol), was an integral part of Austria until the end of World War 1. As a result, the predominent language is German. In addition, Ladin is spoken by the 30,000 Ladini who live in the area.
