I arrived here last Monday and was back to work on Tuesday morning, after my first night in the new house. My co-workers were happy to see me back, especially since I brought with me 3 large boxes of Gail Ambrosius' chocolates! Sadly, Gail cannot ship internationally, so my co-workers, my family and I are dependant upon our guests to bring some when they visit (that means you!) .
Our new home is located at via Giovanni Maria Cecchi No. 6, 50126 Florence. We are just 3 blocks from the Arno River, 25 minutes walk from the center of Florence. Our house in on a quiet one-block long, one-way street. Within a one block radius there is a small green grocer, butcher shop, bakery, video rental, deli, clothing stores and a sewing machine repair shop.
